Hi, I’m Shelby! I’ve lived in Williamsburg my whole life, and my love for hair started way back in high school. I was that friend — the one everyone came to for braids at sporting events and homecoming hair. It just felt natural. I graduated from Williamsburg High School in 2005 and went straight to Capri College that fall. From the start, I knew I’d chosen the right path. I officially graduated in January 2007, and by May, I joined iMpressionZ Salon — I was just 20 years old at the time. Fast forward to today, and I can’t believe I’ve been in this industry for nearly 19 years. What I love most is that there’s always something new to learn. The industry keeps growing, and I grow right along with it. My favorite parts of the job? Creating beautiful color and styling formal looks for special occasions — there’s just something magical about those transformations. My clients would describe me as a good listener, creative, fun, and always hardworking — and I take a lot of pride in that.
